Information Security Assessments

Small businesses need to protect information too

Often we hear small business owners comment that they're too small for hackers to target. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The challenge for most businesses is a) knowing where to start and b) budgeting.

We have low cost options for you without sacrificing quality, and you still get the same level of expertise.

Considering a Small Business Assessment? Package it with other security services and save!

Scope

  • Assess how your company collects, receives, processes, stores, or otherwise uses sensitive information
  • Identify significant risks inherent to your company's approach to information security and the structure provided in policies
  • Propose cost-effective solutions to address the unacceptable risks

This assessment is an abbreviated form of the larger FRSecure Enterprise Information Security Assessment

Process Overview

The Small Business Information Security Assessment is a simple four-phase process consisting of assessment, documentation, presentation, and remediation.

Assessment

The assessment consists of a short information gathering exercise, a follow-up meeting with an FRSecure information security professional, and an analysis of the results.

Documentation

All assessment activities are documented including the questions asked, responses, analysis, and recommendations.

Presentation

A presentation of the findings and recommendations is made in person. You will be made aware of the contents of the documentation and recommendations. The presentation is an opportunity for you to ask any questions regarding the review, the process, and/or recommendations.

Remediation

In the event that there are risks deemed to be significant enough for further discussion, potential remediation efforts may be addressed.
